Hi,

I have found a big problem on SPPB latest release. On the frontend, when you login with a profile/user group NON admin or NON super admin, you cannot display media manager items.

To reproduce the problem :

  • admin_login is a joomla account assigned to super admin group
  • client_login is a joomla account assigned to client group, which is a custom group created by myself.

For info, these errors was not there on SPPB version 3.X

Problem is only located on SPPB version 5.X And other point : the problem is the same on all websites done with SPPB version 5.X

this bug is very critical for our customers. because they have a custom joomla group and they cannot display image and upload images or files.

I did some tests with other Joomla'a groups / access level.

And the problem is the same for all groups / access level except super admin.

so : -> if the user has super admin rights / group = he can display media manager images and files from the front-end. -> if the user has NO super admin rights / group = he cannot display media manager images and files from the front-end.

So could you please correct this bug, this very urgent has access rights features are unusable like this.

PLease fi it asap.

yes because today, all our customers are impacted. they cannot access images...so this is a huge problem for a page builder....

Hi,

This problem comes back again. From the front-end, when I am connected with a user profil which NON SUPER ADMIN, when I want to upload or replace an image, I get this error : https://prnt.sc/qkNG1NrSO-dx But from the front-end, when I am connected with a user profil which is SUPER ADMIN, no problem.

This problem was corrected but appears again.

Could you please fix it ? This is very problematic for our users.

this bug is very very problematic because customers who are not super user cannot upload image. I have a lot af complains about that.

please try to fix bug in priority before adding new features.....

tested on version 5.3.6 and problem still here.

reminder of the problem.

On the frontend, when you login with a profile/user group NON admin or NON super admin, you cannot display media manager items or delete images.

errors :

This bug is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY critical and opened 4 months ago.

I understand but what I'am asking is not a new feature, it is a BUG.

you have to take bugs in priority and especially when this is a major bug.

our customer are unable to upload images due to bug profile, this is not a small detail.
